This young assassin seemingly kills because of the constant torment he had to endure in his childhood because of his disability.
Anyhow, one day a friend of his brutally is beaten and raped and a close colleague is murdered... yep, you guessed it: he sets out to kill all his bosses. How original!
Well, before you throw in the blood-soaked towel on this one, please consider the quality of the direction and the good performances. They elevate it enough to make it worth your time: Thailand has some very good New Wave directors who understand cinematography, blending music and scene, and how to film action sequences.
Unlike "Memories of a Killer," this one seems fresh and original.
The first two minutes of "Taipei" illustrate the shortcomings of "Memories".
