Hi!
I'm looking for the DVD verion of the movie THE MISSION where Jeremy Irons plays a spanish jesuit that wants to build a mission into the South American forest in the hope of converting the natives of the region and Robert De Niro plays a slave hunter that after killing a man in a duel is converted to a jesuit and helps to buid the mission.
I check at Amazon, Columbia Club and Yahoo and can only find the VHS version. Was the DVD version of the movie released?

  It have a greate story.
  It have greate cinematogrphy.
  It have a greate music soundtrack (I have the CD).
  Is there an specific reason for not releasing this film in DVD?, you know like George Lucas with Star Wars.
