I saw it with a couple of buddies yesterday night. There were maybe 20 people in the theater(last show on a Monday night). I thought the film was very good, Rob Schneider seems to improve and better himself in every coming film. He will become a major comedy star in a not so distant future, imho(he is 37 now).
Film itself is funny, at times really funny physical/slapstick comedy(one of the very few recent US productions that I liked), with a spoof tendency spanning from the Full Metal Jacket to Gone With The Wind to police tv melodramas. Schneider is reminiscent of a young Pierre Richard, it's cool to see that he really did his homework on miming animal physicalities and voices. What I like about him is that he does not descend into stupid and unnecessary profanity which can be seen so often in the movies done by his fellow SNL-alumni and a bunch of out-of-nowhere "fart comedy" beer guys.
It's a kind movie, your kids should like it, and you - even more.
Plus Colleen Huskell, what a stunner! There are men who prefer buxome women, others like slender chicks. A girl like Colleen Huskell is everybody's type.
That's all.
