...at Boston's largest screen. It was sold out 40 minutes before the show! Next attempt Sunday. I was all jazzed for it, but saw Memento instead. Superbly crafted and very well acted, I found it trivial in extreme.clark
Follow Ups:
I just saw it this evening. Overall a good movie, but I felt as though Spielberg ran out of materials near the end and had to make things up as he goes along. He tries a bit too hard to be strike the sentimental vibes in this one. Still, overall it's a good movie. Having thought about it, I feel that he could have moded the script to make it a superb story....oh well.
It's my feeling that ultimately you were better off seeing Memento. Certainly, it's more lightweight entertainment but Spielberg does not full succeed with AI. Some parts are startlingly good, but then it unravels at the end. Memento, on the other hand, manages to keep consistent start to finish.Doug Schneider
"S. List" was the one that i can remember.... Too bad he screwed up AI in the end...Spielberg is losing it... I went to see any movie he made about 10 years ago. His name is not magical to me anymore...sad..
