Ears made a good suggestion. While one can go to imbd.com and look through the "goofs" link for movies, there has been one or two goofs that I have noticed.Goodfellas- The famous "Why am I so f*cking funny" scene. Look at Ray Liotta's left arm when they go to different camera angles.
Star Wars- Not really a mistake but in the opening battle scene, Harrison Ford is one of the Rebel soldiers. On one of the close-ups, the chin strap is placed incorrectly so that his chin scar is covered up.
I've noticed more mistakes in other movies but I can't remember them all right now.
Tom §.
but the worst case I know of was a chase scene with someone hanging onto the roof of a generic car, which I think was Steve McQueen but don't quote me. The car maintained color & model but that's about it. The car changed model years, its windows went up & down, and an extra person kept showing up in the back seat & disappearing again between cuts.Again don't quote me but it may be the film Bullet.
One of the worst is the sun setting in the east in The Green Berets.
...and there are generally ending credits listing people responsible for eliminating them. I noticed a serious one in "Eyes Wide Shut" where a small statue on a hall table disappears from one shot to the next.
Next time you watch Plan 9 From Outer Space, notice the whole movie is a "continuity error"!
whatever happend to suspension of disbelief? : )
