First found it as a $3 LD cutout. I really like this strange movie, Does anyone else? (The storyline is: an alternate existence where they live in ? and everything is "pumped" in. Lots of tube jokes... The meter reader main character has his boss invite himself to his home for dinner. The meter man has a HOT wife. The boss is just the sleaziest worm ever. The kids are funny and it all works out in the end. It's sort of a cross between "the Simpsons" and "Brazil")

Glad Im not the only geek out there. I've used this film for my film classes for years as an example of some great low budget liabilities-into-assets filming....that is until someone lifted my copy.Anybody GOT a copy they're willing to part with. Anyone willing to MAKE a copy? The only web sources for the thing are in excess of sixty bucks.
I don't remember too much of it--the tubes, Anne Ramsey, the boss coming on to Juliette Lewis, Bobcat Goldthwaite. If you want another weird-looking, just plain weird and tacky flick, try "Dr. Caligari" (the 1989 version directed by Steve Sayadian).
That Caligari is really wierd, but fun.
