Most of the additional footage is at or near the beginning of the film.Helps with story development.
The Special Edition also has stories as to why the cuts were made,and great interviews.
Get the "Wicker Box" if you can.

That film most definitely makes one think...Even though I never agreed with Clark on his unbriddled enthusiams regarding that film, it certainly belongs to "good films". I would not include it in my "100 best", but as I said, a film that makes one think is not something to be ignored.
