Let me put it in music terms. You are making some list, but there is no Beethoven on it. No Brahms. No Mozart, Grieg, Verdi, Vivaldi, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Mahler, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Bellini, Straus, Stravinsky, Balakirev, Schoenberg, etc, etc, etc........................................................................................What is left is few popular songs. Popular songs can be nice, we all love some, some are better than others.
If your goal was to collect some of the most significant or "great" movies - then books have been written and we all know where to start. If this is just "few films I liked" then what's its point?
I am honestly lost, as I have no idea how to answer your call.
Some films on your list are "nice" - but is being just "nice" all that's needeed?

Hi Victor,
i really do not organise things in a traditional manner.
It's an eclectic melange, hoepfully some young guy will take a look
at Spenser Tracy, maybe someone else would like What's Up, Doc. I find
'desert island' lists silly, but we all know some offbeat gems, oh, like Strawberries and Chocolate. I also think comedy should get the same recognition other movies have; so i threw in some old favorites. Perhaps it's eclectic too a fault, i have been known to get carried away by my enthusiasms
I did like Bringing up Baby and Foul Play. Although I'm pretty sure the latter was a 70's flick. Also I love the Commitments. Great movie and music! If you want eclectic, check these out: (all pretty recent)
