Blimey was it stupid! The direction, however (Soderbergh) was interesting -- or was it the editor? He (they?) can distort the timeline and still have the thing come out looking linear. As for plot, it was just a shoot-'em-up -- or did I fall asleep during a good part?clark
Follow Ups:
I thought the funky timelines worked well, and whazzizname-the actor who played the limey- was very cool. Not an intellectual piece, but cool.
For once I agree with you. Limey was...limey.
The first time I saw it I thought it was great. The second time I had a real hard time...how the hell could I like this crap I kept asking myself.
This is the kind of movie that really depends on the mood I'm in when I watch it as to wether I like it or not.
The Limey is a fun little crime caper -- quite well done and unfortunately too few people saw it. It was made by Steven Soderbergh -- Sex, Lies & Videtape; Traffic; Erin Brokovich; etc.
