What's the guy's name that played the leader of the terrorists in one of the Die Hards (II I think)? He was also the bad guy in Quigley Down Under. My memory for names is really beginning to fade, but this guy has always played a most excellent villian.
Alan Rickman and you're right, he does play villains well.
Didn't Rickman play an unsavory character in Costner's "Robin Hood"?
He played the Sheriff of Nottingham and was the highlight of a movie that disappointed me greatly. I've developed a strong dislike of Costner's acting.
Costner was not charismatic enough for that role; Errol Flynn was; Costner
should have known better, but his big overambitious ego blinded him. I'm
not completely anti-Costner, enjoyed him as Elliott Ness in "The Untouchables"; his laid-back acting style fit the Ness part very
well; the stiff-acting Robert Stack did OK way back when in the TV series.
Can't speak for the rest of his films as I haven't seen or wanted to see
them. - AH
