One should not criticize the Closet based on the chiche's - of course there are many, it is a situation comedy. One should simply sit back and enjoy, like one enjoys some classical commedies. And there is much to be enjoyed.

Pierre Richard is wonderful, things like The Goat and Tall Man should be commedy classics. He is old now, unfortunately.

I didn't see Asterix, and will take your word for it.
