and so, what the hell happened? My best guess is that the young man in the cafe was describing either a waking halucination or a dream to his therapist, and the movie follows the dream. Other than this speculation, I have no idea what I saw. But, I didnt like Blue Velvet. I loved the straight story, though.

I rather enjoyed the movie, and like others have said, it is not often that a movie will evoke any thought at all these days.Was it death vision?
