14-disc set, lots of extras, blah blah. I know most of the skits by heart, but my kids are just getting turned on to Monty and the show's are (almost) nowhere to be found on the tube these days.Paid $111.00 for the set at Half.com.
Like many a hungover morning in the distant past, I'm left wondering if I got screwed...or not. Any value gumshoes out there?

Follow Ups:
Excellent transfers, and the most side splittingly hilarious TV show ever, IMHO.
Best Fawlty Towers anagram? Flowery Twats.
Or "Farty Towels"! Love that one!
Close second (though not as "out there")- "Fatty Owls"

Boom Shanka -- May your seed be fruitfull in the belly of your woman!Love that show. Does anyone know if it's on DVD???
That's my man, Atkinson in there, not that freak Mr.Bean. I've seen people on Paxil, but this is something else.
My favorite Blackadder is the WWI one!
I prefer Blackadder the Third myself, but his version of "A Christmas Carol" takes the cake. Possibly the best Christmas special ever.
.
I tried... but could only watch about about 10 minutes of fawlty towers. It's the bluty bRiTTish huma. ;)
I went to see John C. speak at a small bookseller here in NYC a few years back. Someone asked "why did you stop filming F.T. after just 13 episodes?"His answer?
"We looked at what we had done and, well, just decided that we couldn't be any funnier than that."
Priceless.
Farty Towels.
