I'm glad you mentioned The Wall, as I hadn't thought of it, and it absolutely has to be on the list. Sorry I haven't seen The Talking Heads movie, but it does indeed seem to be well renowned. I think Purple Rain should probably be on the list also. Unfortunately, many of these lists seem to be skewed toward the 60's and 70's. Some of us younger folks (I'm 37) may have a slightly different perspective.

I didn't much care for PURPLE RAIN. Despite the high critical success, I have always found the movie to be pretentious and dull. It's CITIZEN KANE next to UNDER A CHERRY MOON, however.
