The old lady and I went to see this movie last night and it was quite impressive, that is if you like non stop machine gun fire. 3/4 of the movie is actually just that. I must admit that it is good for me to go to the movies once in awhile to see how much better my home setup sounds. When the wife actually says this would sound better on our system at home I know that I must be doing something right. :)Any thoughts on this movie anyone?

The Film1. The film was excellent, well done with pretty damned good acting,
2. Ridley Scott's vision vision time was WAY, WAY, above Gladiator.
The Story1. I hate seeing good men wasted on uncaring people ala Vietnam
2. Washington blew it by underestimating the situation
3. Why didm't our guys ever fight from the ROOFTOPS???!!!!Note: I pretty much screamed #3 during most of the film
Blackhawk down was great. eric bana was excellent. its surprising to see him act in such a movie when he is famously remembered as australia's funny guy on "Full Frontal".. credit to him!
