Hi,This is a pretty good movie in my opinion, with a nice twist. What I really like about this movie is it has one of the best car chases I have ever seen. I'd rate this car chase right up there with "Bullitt".
Does anyone else like it?

Follow Ups:
This early 70s movie also had a good car chase scene with a real slick end.
check out the 'bad guy' driver in Bullitt and the bad guy driver in "the Seven Ups" -- same guy. musta bailed out before he hit that gas station.also, if you watch carefully, that Dodge loses 5 hubcaps during the chase in San Francisco. they must have cut the scene where he stops, runs back to fetch the right front hubcap (you can see it pass him on one of the turns) and replaces it for a following scene during the same chase.
also, what's the deal with Steve McQueen double clutching all the time?
did he remove the syncromesh in that mustang, or did he learn to drive on a 1922 Mack truck?
Best chase scene in a movie? W.C. Fields in "The Bank Dick"
Metralla:
I agree completely the car chases in both movies are awesome....Ronin is a superior film IMHO...I like the Parisian backdrop more than S.F. Paris had the claustrophic streets and S.F. the hills....McQueen's screen presence and known auto racing abilities made Bullitt pretty cool...I always wanted one of those Cobra-ized fastback Mustangs., I love the tire burn and wheel hop when he's backing up...The Mopar chasing him was one of the big boys of it's day...I think it had the 440 Hemi Head engine.

Has the best car chase sequences in Cinema, period. If you're watching this on the big screen or a big TV, there will be several times you'll unconsciously grip the edge of your seat, guaranteed! Also a very salvageable film, with both Bruce Dern as a "Bad Cop" and Ryan ONeal as the Crook he's after, their best roles ever IMHO.
