hey. my poor mom seems to be frantic. she watched some stephen king miniseries and fell asleep a half hour before it concluded last night.can someone tell me what happens in the last half hour so i can relate the info to her? otherwise i'm goign to be hearing about this thru christmas.
thanks!
Follow Ups:
While watching the first part of this I got the impression that Stephen King had recycled The Shining with the story of the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose ('whacko' construction designed to keep evil spirits from killing Sarah Winchester). Anybody know if King has acknowledged the Winchester story?
Winchester Mystery House website, below.
BTW, I LOVE this kindof stuff (SK rules too!)

Thanks!
Well I don't know the last 30 minutes per se as I didn't memorize in elapsed time. I didn't watch it but I did see it about 10 times 6 months ago while working on it.The house has locked them all inside using the phsycic power of the lttle girl. The older woman of the group breaks through to her using phsycic writing. The little girl releases the hold on doors and windows and all group leaves, except Joyce the leader. She stays to complete her research. The house relocks the doors and windows with only her inside. All the ghosts and spooks appear, surround Joyce and kill her. From outside the little girl says "bad, bad house" and starts the rain of boulders down on the house like she had done to the house of the dog lady in night 1. House is pretty much destroyed. Cut to one year later all the survivors revisit the front yard and leave a display of roses on the ground. As they drive away camera tilts up to belltower where we see 3 female ghosts, the black woman, the old woman and Joyce.
Hope that helps
Steve
I had to leave the room for a few minutes just as the last hour started and when I returned the English guy who seemed destined to be the hero was nowhere to be seen. He reappeared at the end as one of the spectres grabbing Joyce. What happened to him? Who or what killed him? Thanks!
The "bump in the rug" was chasing him and Judith Ivey's character down a long hallway. They ran and he pushed her through a side door opened at the end of the hall. It closed behind her before he could come through. When she opened the door again to check for him, he and the rug bump were nowhere to be seen.

hey steve, thank you! i'll pass along the info to dear ol ma. she's already sent me 4 emails about it today and 3 phone calls. you're a life saver.
i guess you worked on the sound? what part?
thanks again
I did all the process called "laybacks" over and over and over. It is the final marrying of finished picture and finished sound onto a color timed digital beta cam. It required ,many passes of the whole show as the client kept making picture or sound fixes.Steve
