I enjoyed it as well. I like most of their movies and this is one of their more solid efforts. Billy Bob did a really nice job and anything with Tony Shaloub usually gets a big thumbs up from me.

Another one with him that rocks is the Big Night.
That UFO twist was brilliant and funny.
