I caught a broadcast of "Off Limits" a while ago, and was stunned by the performance of Scott Glenn as a suspect...a combat seasoned Colonel in Viet Nam...of the murders Willem DeFoe and Gregory Hines are investigating. It was a totally off the wall performance...intense, ragingly insane and totally mad, ala Colonel Kurtz, but more accessible. Great performance.
Follow Ups:
I've not seen "Off Limits" but will check it out. Glenn's got an impressive body of work. "The Right Stuff", "Silverado", "The Keep",
"My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys", "The Silence of the Lambs" et al. A very under-rated actor. Aside from the stunning scenery he was,
IMHO the best part of "Vertical Limit".
I've always thought Scott Glenn is a much underappreciated actor. He's turned in many fine performances.
