YEP! Figured that it'd be a relatively easy question, but wonder how many people's first reaction was Boris Karloff? :)
I knew about Thomas Cooke. Apparently Mary Shelley loved the play. It took some delving to find first film portrayal. I remembered the stock photograph we've all seen hundreds of times and the name Kiwi Kingston came to mind. Then Elmo Lincoln but he was Tarzan.
