Something to maybe to be looking to avoid...Albert Brooks and Michael Douglas remaking "The In Laws"....Brooks in the Alan Arkin role, Douglas in the Peter Falk role. That such a minor good film is the subject of a remake is a bit frightening.
Douglas will apparently give us his "Romancing The Stone"...ahem...
characterization again ?Arnold Schwartzenager in a remake of "Westworld" ? A real stretch NOT but it's a safe film for Arnold!

How about talks for "Bewitched, The Movie"?What ever happened to "The Love Boat Movie"? Was Merrill Stubing too busy?
The whole development of trying for "sure things" in Hollywood is pretty sad, but understandable. Maybe we'll see genuine creativity return to Hollywood someday.
I can't wait for "Saved By the Bell" -- a major motion picture.
Dont these guys get it....all of these remakes suck big time...when are they going to get the hint ?
