It used to be adapting Broadway-Theater for film...now, in the Media's neverending expressions of mediocrity and Death Throes, NOW films are being adapted for the...ahem...Theaaaaaterrrr !

"Legally Blonde...The Musical"
"Sweet Smell of Success...The Musical"...with John Lithgow...seriously
"The Pink Panther...The Musical"
"Marty...The Musical"
"Moonstruck...The Musical"

Seriously Folks !

In development...."Rocky", "Get Shorty", "The Fabulous Baker Boys", "New York, New York", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"...

It seems that MGM, which it seems is always for sale, is marketing this with it's "MGM on Stage" division...

The only good thing to come out of all of this is the recent reasonably priced older DVD titles.

But "Legally Blonde...The Musical"...YECCCCCCHHHHHH !
