It's very slow paced, sappy, and utterly predictable. I liked it.Dennis Quaid does a first rate job. It's beautifully filmed and patiently told, though in a Disney/After School Special sort of way.
I skimmed the review in the New York Times after I saw it and feel that the review does an excellent job of describing the movie.
