I have 2 pre amps in my system, an Anthem for 2-channel listening and a B&K for HT. I use the Anthem's processor loop to integrate the B&K when watching movies. The problem is the sub. The sub is connected to the B&K's sub out, so when listening to 2-channel (Anthem) I lose the sub. Is there a way to use the sub in both applications? The sub is a Sunfire.I've tried speaker level connections to the sub and setting the B&K to "no sub" but that didn't work out too well. Not enough boom for movies, too much boom for music!

You could resort to the same method I'm using (even though my mains are good down to 32Hz), putting an electronic xover (Marchand) between the Anthem's L&R pre-outs and the amplifier's L&R inputs and connecting the sub to this xover. I have my Marchand xover set for 60Hz.Then set the B&K for Mains=Large and Sub=NO sending all bass to the main channels. Sub output jack is empty.
This way the sub is always in the loop for either 2-channel or HT. By the way, the Marchand has a very low noise floor and doesn't degrade the signal IMO.

G'day Slip, another way is to get a good change over switch or if your handy enough make one up, DIY. I had a similar setup at one stage and with a bit of adjustment (such as lwang suggested, with setting up for music and adjusting the processor to add a few dBs for the 0.1 duties). The only pain is to switch over (do this before turning equipment is on, especially the amps).
Have fun and good luck.
Regards Robert.
Hooking up B&K's LFE connection to the speaker level connection and split the Anthem's line out to the sub's line level connection or ivce versa. Set gain on sub so that it sounds right for music, and adjust LFE signal via the processor's sub level adjustment. You might want to disable the crossover on the processor and set the xo freq on the sub.You might get bass doubling from the mains speakers when playing movies.
