punch in your location and they will tell you who is broadcasting over the airwaves, what kind of antenna you'll need, and which direction to aim it.
i would imagine that the buildings will be a big problem, unless you can get something on the roof...

yep, the digital broadcasts are Ultra High Frequency, which pretty much means "line of sight". hills and buildings are a problem. since you are probably very close to the transmitting antennas, you may be able to use an omni-directional antenna.i'd be interested if you would post your observations--
