I have just got this 32" TV with stand for £550 brand new (through a friend). Its retail price is £1200. It has built in IDTV (integrated digital) and detachable frames. It looks great, sounds great but the picture im not so sure about. Apparently this is actually an old song Wega fx20 in disguise (50hz) somewhere down the convoluted line thomson takes over. I have no problems with the colour or contrast, the clarity is also good. But fine detail has gone a miss and i find myself wanting a more crisp vibrant picture, no matter what i do i cannot resolve this issue. It recieved exellent reviews in magazines for its picture. Is there a service menu i can access?
Even when optomising my exellent (or so i thought) Sony 725d DVD player (conneted via a good RGB Scart, and with edge enhanment on it is still to blury) i know european sets are tuned to soften and warm the image, i want to reverse this.
