THE 5000 HAS TWO 12'' PUSH PULL @400WATTS CROSS OVER SET TO THE HIGHEST. THE 150 HAS TWO 12'' PUSH PULL @200 WATTS CROSS OVER SET TO THE HIGHEST.CROSS OVER SETTINGS 135 ON BOTH. I HAVE BEEN HAPPY BUT , I WANT THE MOST OUT OF WATCHING MOVIES,THAT IS ALL I DO WITH MY ROOM. THANKS
Follow Ups:
Try backing the crossover down a bit, this should help things out. I'm thinking like 80hz. Then just start experimenting with room placement. If you want maximum output, at the possible expense of smoothness and overemphasis, put them in the corners, and try stacking them if you want. You're probably close to getting what they are capable of and either have to be happy finding a better placement, or move up to a bigger sub. 15's, 18's, and horn subs are the big daddys. A true 35 hz horn sub with a single 18 is about the size of a fridge but is a beautiful thing.....
Otherwise, just watch the movie and be happy!!
BTW, the quality of your current subs should be decent, eh?
MIKE i always wanted to go with seperates, so i'll make some body a good deal.THANKS etap@insightbb.com
