Are you using a Lexicon preamp? There have been many reports that RCA DSS receivers and Lex preamps have incompatibility issues regarding digital output via the toslink cable.If you do not have a Lex product, check the signal strength on the dish, check your preamps menus for some way to lock into th edigital signal and look into any incompatibility issues with your preamp. I doubt it is the dss box.

I'm using a Denon 4802. Most of the transponders are running in the mid-90s (I think 4 is 35). Could this somehow be a problem between the Denon and RCA. If so, would using a different DSS box solve the problem?
