Audio Asylum Thread Printer Get a view of an entire thread on one page |

video cd ? dvd video?The manual states these two general video types. So what does this mean to those of us with computers? If I take an MPG movie off of my computer onto a CD, will it play on the S9000? I doubt avi as that is a Microsoft format, but what else will play on here?

it does not play most personal burnt CDs. Every now and then, one works, but not usually.
VCD and Video DVD are formats... you must author them specifically for those formats... and they DO work on the DVP-S9000ES.... i have created several DVDs (like movie DVDs) using Pinnacle Studio and they work great on the 9000.... Video CD will also work fine, you just have to author them and publish to the correct format.Sam
