and I love mine. I would say that Panasonic is far superior to CHEAPASS Sony in every possible way.Sony sells on their name only. Look where their products are actually built. Every piece of junk Sony gear I have ever owned is broke. Every Panasonic component is still going strong. I am on my thrird Panasonic. The others are in my living room and bedroom after many years of faithful service.

Be carefull, if you buy a Panny for DVD, don't buy the CT32HL42. I heard that this TV and all the new Panasonic models don't have ID-1 dectection or squeeze fonction for anamorphic DVD. I was considering one myself. I think the best way to be sure is to call the Panasonic 1-800 line.
Sony and Toshiba are far and away the better tv manufacturers with the edge going to Toshiba if price is a consideration. Like any other manufacturer, they both make dogs as well so do your homework and choose wisely.
