I used run of the mill 1000/25V caps. I buy them cheap at my local parts house. I cut the leads to about 1/2 inch and put sleaves on them and tined the ends. I then added a drop of solder to each cap lead. They're surface mount and have two small pads for the leads. I soldered the new caps right on top, watch the polarity. It works great with the new caps in. Everything about it got better. For my TV 480P seems to work best, since my TV is a 4x3 I have a wider choice of formats for each channel. I my area, not all HD is real HD. Good Luck.
