Changing the fan might be problematic. You'll have to find a replacement that fits and has a CFM (cubic feet minute) rating equal to or higher than the fan that's already in the projector. Otherwise, you risk overheating your projector. If your projector sucks cool air in and blows hot air out it's front (the side with the lens), you could easily build a "hush box", which is nothing more than a well-insulated box that--obviously--is open on the lens side.

Thanks for the response CJ. I called Studeo Experience for suggestions & they told me of a company that makes a whisper flow box. I can't find them, does anybody here know of this or any other company that does this?
