Yeah its there. But who cares. Tons of players have it, and nobody who makes these players is going to fix it anytime soon.Can we just stop adding this tag to this player? For people who just bought it, its like telling them that they just bought the wrong player. That's stretching the truth quite a bit.
ANYWAY: I noticed a little settling down on the high frequencies as far as audio, but it was subtle. For reference, to get any mods done on the player, some places request 100-200 hours! I suppose that doesn't really matter, but its a nice round number to shoot for.
Congrats on getting the 9000. Did you find it new or used? Just a thought: if you did buy it used, you may want to go in and reset all the cool settings that someone else may have tweaked for their own system. If its new, then just know that this player has lots and lots of fine tuning available.
