Are you sure the image files are for a VCD and not a SVCD? Because I checked DVDHELP.COM, and the players you listed will play VCDs, but not SVCDs. I noticed that a lot of the image files that I download nowadays are in SVCD format, not VCD.Also, when you try different brand CD-R's, try to make sure they weren't OEMed by the same factory or it won't matter. For example, anything that is made by CMC Media does not work on my Panasonic RP82. I have 2 spindles of Memorex CD-Rs. The new one is made by CMC and the older one is made by some other factory. The new ones can't be read at all by my Panasonic RP82. The other pack works fine.

Yes. The files are VCD and not SVCD. Is it possible that the videos are in a format other than NTSC? How would I check, and if they are, how would I convert them to the North American format? Thanks for the help!
