Those are audio settings. Look for the speaker setup option.
BTW what is the model number of your Samsung DVD player model?
Follow Ups:
I can not seem to find any speaker setup options. I have a choice of 2 channel analog out or digital out via optical or coax. These are just the back jacks. No specific "speaker" settings on the machine. It does have a 3d sound feature for stereo output. This sounds like it works with discs recorded in Dolby Surround or Dolby Digital, but needs to be set for each disc. I'm going to play with that and see what happens.
The speaker setup options are not on the player. On my Samsung player the remote has a button labelled SETUP. When you press this option while a disc is playing you get several setup options on the screen - one of which is for setting up the speakers.
I am not familiar with your DVD player but this is a fairly standard option found on most DVD players.
Thanks. My model does not have that particular setup. I quess yiu get what you pay for. I'll put it in the "Book of Great Lessons".
