Sony TV. It's small and rectangular 2 wire plug that fits into the back of most Sony TVs.
If you know of any source for this plug...

Still looking for an answer huh? Well, as an alternative, I`ll suggest what I`m going to be doing in the near future. I`m installing an IEC terminal on the back of my XBR Wega so I can replace that flimsy lampcord with a high quality PC. From what I gather, it`s not that difficult. Just ignore the ground connection as there is none. All that is needed is a panel IEC terminal to attach to the back of the set.(you`ll have to cut out a hole of course) Then change the wiring plugs inside the set to accept the terminal. I`m anxious to see what improvements can be made with this tweek! Regards, Robin
I even have the IEC connector available... My TV is weeks old and still under warranty... Which is why a plug would be so much better...
Thanks... Paul
Hey Paul, just for s&g, you might want to try www.stormproducts.com/interconnect/power-custom.asp to see if they can`t make ya up something. An email can`t hurt, much,,,, LOL Let me know how it works out. As for me, I`m heading to my Authorized Sony repairman for a 15 amp IEC installation. My XBR400`s 2 yrs old, no warranty works for me.
