I saw this video from a website and I want to copy it in my hard drive. It used my multimedia player but I can't save it. Is there a way you could copy videos from the internet with codes that won't let you do it? I'm not really sure if there are codes that stop me from doing it, but I'm sure if there's none, I could have done it. I can't track the source of the video so I can't load is manually or directly. Is there a way in tracking it? The page was in .asp thing. I have no idea what is this .asp... Please help...

Sometimes it depends on the website and if the video is truly streaming video, it might be difficult to capture. I'm not saying it can't be done but I don't have the tools to do it.With some websites, the video is cached in a temporary directory. You can sometimes play the entire video clip and before closing your player, find the file in the cache directory and save it. You can do this with the Apple website where they show off a number of QuickTime movie trailers.
