Hi,
Just a few minutes ago I turned on the "old" Mitsubishi big screen and it appears to have died. I'll have a tech come look at it but I doubt that it's worth fixing. I guess it's time to upgrade to the world of HDTV. Problem is that I know very little about what's available and what features to look for. Recomendations and links to other sites will be greatly apprieciated.
Thanks,
Bob

Plenty of information and technical help when you need it.
Joe,
Thanks for the link. I'm now fairly educated on 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i, DVI, Firewire, DLP, etc. I'm armed and dangerous with credit card in hand.

Congratulations. However, if you're married, the coup d'etat is to actually have the wife (!!!) suggest that you get a plasma.ps. Have the EMT people close by. It took them over 20 minutes to get here and "revive" me. Good thing I only needed oxygen...
She likely suggested a plasma, only until such time as she found out the cost!! ;-)
about the passing out (he he he). However, there will be a new 42" plasma coming shortly after Panasonic releases their new models in July. She knows the price, too. Can't keep "numbers" from an accountant -- trust me, I know firsthand.I guess the real kicker is that when the 1920 x 1080p 70"+ plasmas get here in early 2005 (hopefully), the wife knows I'm going to take out a mortgage on the house. And in case you're wondering, NO, I'm not joking.
