I just purchased the Philips DVD recorder 985. It does a very good job in taping many of the pre-recorded tapes I own. The DVD made from the tape, in many instances, is better than the original tape. However, some of these tapes are copy protected. Has anyone figured out a way to still copy these tapes to a DVD. As you all know, this can only be done for your own personal use.
