Since I'm in the market for a new DVD player I am considering one that copies as well. Are there trade offs in playback quality when considering a Burner vs. player, or are the only differences in price and copy capability? I don't believe the burner will get a lot of use, however, I will want the capability within a couple of years. Currently, I have a 2nd generation Toshiba DVD player that may be starting to loose its color quality. I'm looking for current features such as progressive scan etc. in preparation for assembling a home theater. I've seen $99 progressive scan players. If they are acceptable that may be the way to go in the short term (1-3 yrs). Comments? Recommendations?
