I'm thinking of getting a new Toshiba 24AF43 television. It competes with the highly regarded and more expensive 24 inch Sony Wega KV-300, but apparently it has a 16:9 mode that one normally only finds with larger TVs. I can't find any reviews, and know only that the Toshiba 27 inch AF42 got good reviews. If anyone is familiar with this new-ish Toshiba 24 inch AF43, I'd appreciate your review/thoughts.

I have been interested in the Toshiba 27" but wondered if anyone could tell me if the user can turn off the velocity scanning modulation?
