I am having some trouble with my AV inputs for the television. I am not sure what is causing this interference. There seems to be some sort of surge when I connect my Xbox,PS2,Cable and DVD. The Xbox is connected to a component input, the PS2 is in AV1, Cable is in AV2 and DVD connected to AV3.

could you be a little more specific as to what the surge is in (audio or video???) and what effect does it have?
Thank you for replying. I am not sure what is causing it to happen. This is what happened. One day when I wanted to watch a movie on the dvd there was no picture or sound. When I switch to cable the screen was flickering around and then the TV cut off. I was just wondering what could make this happen the wires, ps2, Xbox, dvd or all of them. I hope this helps you understand a little bit more.
I'm not familiar with that model but, is your component input also part of AV-1,AV-2 or AV-3. Sometimes it's one or the other but not both.
