Hey Audiophilander (and others),I am very intrigued by your earlier post about the projector system you set up with the InFocus X1 and the Panasonic RP91, but I have a few questions for you:
1. How do you think the system would perform with a different screen, say, a home-built white screen? Do you think the high-gain glass beaded screen is critical to the performance you enjoy?
2. Do you think that the RP91 is the best DVD player for the system? Is anyone else aware of any newer DVD players (like the Denon 1600 or newer models) that have the necessary flexibility to make the "po' Boy" system shine? (tint control, edge and sharpness controls)
Thanks,

For all the info and more on screens, go to www.avsforum.com, display devices, screens... there is a TON of info there. Check out what D-Dog has written and the mix he uses... he has it down to a science.
Most of these "home made" screens look awful, I have yet to find someone who knew what he was doing.
