If you have a DVI inout on your TV, then the hot ticket is either the $200 Bravo D1 DVD Player or the $300 Samsung DVD player with DVI HDMI output (where you can keep the picture all digital). The DVD players can output at 720P and 1080i HDTV resolutions, keeping the signal all digital. Obviously the output is limited by the information contained on the DVD (It can't add information) but the pictures are suppose to be the best so far.Their analog outputs arent very good but that is not what these players are about. I believe the Samsung also has the Farouja processing as well. There are several new magazine reviews of this AWESOME all digital picture out there.
Mine is sitting in a box in the foyer, waiting for my birthday (end of the month). I will post my direct experiences with the DVD player as soon as I can break away from watching movies with it. I am excited!

The Bravo/Samsung look like knockouts. Plus they essentially remove cabling from the equation, which IMHO is a big plus. Now I'm just trying to make a decision between the two . . .
