I just bought a 42" Samsung DLP, and while the video performance is beyond reproach, I've noticed a goodly amount of fan noise coming from the back of the unit. Is it normal for the fan to be on all the time--or even most of the time? I understand that the rotating mirrors get extremely hot, and therefore need to be cooled, but I still want to confirm that the fan should be on as often as it is. On action films, it's not a problem, since the noise tends to get drowned out by the action, but on quieter passages, it's clearly audible. (FWIW, I sit about 7-8' away from the TV.) Also, is this a problem with all DLP sets or just the Samsung?
Follow Ups:
Yes the fan is audible. There's nothing wrong.

I was seriously considering a DLP front projector and the cooling fan was one of the issue. OTOH, I'd be watching mostly bad-action theater with horrendously loud sound effects....
enjoy
