The ones I've seen used Altec horns and compression drivers and cheaper, but competant woofers, maybe Utahs, I dunno.
The Altec parts were usually 806 drivers on 811 horns, horns and drivers probably worth $250-$400 a pair, it varies. Check Ebay.
