There's a new SONY HD RPTV that just got a rave review in The Perfect Vision, head and shoulders above all the competition. It's the KP-57WS510.
Follow Ups:
What do you think about the kf50we610 Grand Wega? If I was going to go with a Sony that would probably closer to what I had in mind. I haven't heard much about the kp57ws510, but will look into it. Thanks for your input.
I am not familiar with the set you mention nor to be truthful have I SEEN the one I mentioned. It's just that I have never seen such a rave review for any product in TPV. IMHO TPV is the best of the video magazines. I think the only way to compare is to see both side by side at a Sony dealer.Whatevr you do purchase, make sure to have the set calibrated right away by an ISF technician, both for optimal picture and for long life.
what is ISF?
Video professionals who calibrate your set to optimum capability. Believe it or not, most TVs do not arrive from the factory at optimal, or even *safe*, settings for best picture quality and long life.Do it - ona big rear projection set the difference can be significant.
