If you are using a progressive scan DVD Player, you will need to set your input type to DTV. If you have a non-progressive DVD Player, you will need to change the input type to COMPONENT.It sounds like you have a non-progressive DVD player and your input type is currently set to DTV.

You're right it's a non progressive scan DVD player. But the LCD projector input is set to component video. So in theory I should be getting the video color correct or am I wrong in assuming this?
If you are set to Component, then the color should be correct. If not, you may have a problem with your projector or your component out on your DVD Player.
