Hello, Everyone:I normally collect only recording and audio gear, but over the weekend, I ran into this gorgeous looking Sony "Multi Color Corrector", a model XV C-900 in their "ES" series, in a local SF / Bay Area Goodwill store, and they had it marked in the range of silliness. It was in mint condition with the original manual in a plastic bag, fastened to the top. I believe it sold new for just over $1K.
Two minor questions, if you will:
Is there a use for this these days, all things being mostly software-driven in editing suites?
If so, is it at all in demand? What would it bring on the market now?
I am wondering what to do with it!
Those little joy sticks and front panel faders just sucked me right in!
