i am interested in classic audio reproduction cinema set up ... enjoy the music gave rave/. it 94db sensitive and horns so very fast..... what do you think. can get cheaply. my daughter has Axioms that cost 1500 and very good sound. so what would you recommend? and what kind of amps? some say that [processors not do well on sensitive speakers like clasic audio at 94db. ?? true?
i don't think use tube amps ... doubt enough speed and punch for theater tho love in my music system. so please give me some of your experience. thx

you also might want to look at the totem dreamcather system.
I'd suggest listening to a definitive set-up for that price range. Their towers have built-in subs and the bipole set-up provides for great ambience. The downside is that they aren't great for straight music listening in my view but I think (for the money) that they are hard to beat for home theater. You might check out the recent Stereophile (or TAS?) -- I think that there was a review of their new flagship towers.If you decide to go that route, I'd suggest you get them used from audiogon and save yourself a bunch of money.
You might consider the smaller speakers in the Magnepan line, either the MMG's plus a CC-3 center ot the newer MMG-W's. They are inefficient but perfect for movie sound and simply gorgeous on music.
